NHS Health Check Programme review

Letter from PHE and NHS Test and Trace to school and college leaders

The Department of Health and Social Care asked Public Health England to carry out an evidence-based review of the NHS Health Check programme in July 2020.

The review will advise Ministers on how NHS Health Checks can evolve in the next decade to maximise the future benefits of the programme in preventing illness and reducing health inequalities. This may include recommendations on the content of NHS Health Checks, how the programme is delivered and how it links to the wider health and social care system.

As part of the review, interested stakeholders are invited to complete the NHS Health Check survey. It is also possible to sign up to workshops as part of the review.
